What should I do now?

Hi everybody,
This is where I'm going to share my random thoughts on life and living.
Met a guy (who works in the middle-east) in a train couple of days ago. He offered me a bottle of beer and I declined! He looked very happy and completely carefree! I started talking to him and during the course of the conversation he said with tears in his eyes that his elder son died of blood cancer last year and the second son is struggling in the hospital suffering from the same ailment. I was too shocked for words! How do you console someone in this kind of a situation? I told him what I tell students in my NLP seminar. Happiness is just an emotion and you can choose it anytime you want. It is just a bio-chemical event in the body. I hope it works for him. It works for me. Any reactions?

Really makes absolute sense. I have done this a lot of times and really feel good at the ability to do it. How to make it a perpetuity is another question though.
